In patients treated with cisplatin for bladder cancer, it has demonstrated that cisplatin regulated METTL3’s m6A methylation function and reduced the expression level of granulocyte colony-stimulating factors (G-CSF) mRNA, and inhibited the expansion and immune suppression ability of fibrocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells (f-MDSCs) (Mu et al., 2021).
