METTL14 and Familial prostate cancer: In prostate cancer, the expression levels of METTL14, FTO, YTHDC1-2, and YTHDF1-3 were positively correlated with androgen receptor expression (Wu et al., 2021a), suggesting that we may be able to assist in the treatment of prostate cancer by regulating the expression levels of m6A regulators so that increasing patient sensitivity to castration therapy and enhancing drug efficacy.
