Based on the significance of MTOR and CCND1 in tumor progression and resistance to therapy in cancer including breast cancer (35–38), we investigated whether MTOR and CCND1 have a predictive significance for the pathological complete response to taxane-based chemotherapy, in 437 non-responsive vs. 75 responsive ER+/HER2- breast cancers patients in the ROC Plotter cohort. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is breast cancer.
