The most common autoantibody in the DM cohort was anti-Mi2 (n = 162/405, 40%) followed by -TIF1γ (n = 143/405, 35%), -MDA5 (n = 66/405, 16%), -SAE (n = 39/405, 10%), and -NXP2 (n = 9/405, 2%) (Supplementary Table S6, available at Rheumatology online). This evidence concerns the gene IFIH1 and dermatomyositis.
