IFNL2 and cancer: We collected 780 ligands and 815 receptors genes information from the CellTalkDB database and investigated differences in the proportion of ligand or receptor gene-specific expression in tumor and normal tissues, and then just four genes of IFNL2, IFNL3, CGB3, CGB5 demonstrated tumor-specific expression in more than 30% of all cancer cases (3394, 3444, 2993, 3098 samples, respectively), while only in a small amount of normal cases(78, 71, 91, 85 samples, respectively, Fig. 1A).
