Interestingly, although several groups have reported that RBP1 is markedly downregulated in breast cancer and ovarian cancer,36, 37 many studies have shown that RBP1 is significantly upregulated in multiple cancer types and plays an oncogenic role, including CRC, breast cancer, glioma, oral squamous cell carcinoma, and laryngeal cancer.35, 38, 39, 40, 41.
