miR-103a-3p is an oncogene that is highly expressed in CRC tissues and cell lines and promotes the glycolysis pathway and proliferation, invasion, and migration of CRC cells by up-regulating the transcription of HK2, LDHA, and PKM1 through the Hippo/YAP1/HIF1α axis (Sun et al., 2020). Here, HK2 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
