INS and anovulation: Insulin resistance is a key pathophysiological marker of PCOS, insulin sensitizing agents have been used to improve insulin resistance in PCOS, and this may include beneficial effects on lipid and ApoB-lipoprotein metabolism [56–58]. In addition to peripheral insulin resistance, ovary insulin resistance will cause fertile disorder by having a side effect on folliculogenesis, causing anovulation and hyperandrogenia [59]. In our study, the correlation between ApoC3 levels and insulin in the plasma has not yet been found in PCOS mice.
