Since neuroinflammation is an important factor in promoting neuropathy in PD [20], we used Western blotting to detect the expression of the inflammatory factors NF-κB, TNF-α, and IL-6, and the results showed that their expression was significantly increased in the PD group and PD + MDMA group, and the latter was more obvious (Fig. 1D). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and Parkinson disease.
