(2019) indicated that the antiproliferative effect of luteolin in melanoma cells can be associated with decreased expression of proteins involved in hypoxia-inducible factor-1α/vascular endothelial growth factor (HIF-1α/VEGF) signaling pathway including HIF-1α, VEGF-A, and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR-2) [310].
