In human A375.S2 melanoma cells, chrysin inhibited cell migration and invasion via matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) inhibition, and due to the inhibition of expression or activation of several signaling pathways including phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), protein kinase B (AKT), protein kinase C (PKC), focal adhesion kinase (FAK), Ras homolog family member A (RhoA), and p-c-Jun. This evidence concerns the gene RHOA and melanoma.
