We emphasize that, unlike the findings observed in our study regarding the fibrinolytic potential, Gronastaj et al. (2013) [24] and Posch et al. (2019) [2] found that cancer patients had impaired fibrinolysis, which could be explained by the fact that they did not evaluate individual plasmin production and investigated fibrinolysis as a measure of time (CLT—clot lysis time).
