S100P and pancreatic neoplasm: In duodenal juice analysis, Kisiel et al. [20] reported that methylated DNA is a promising early diagnostic marker of pancreatic cancer, while Matsunaga et al. [21] measured the levels of the protein marker S100P on duodenal juice and found that they could discriminate between pancreatic cancer patients and benign controls with 85% sensitivity and 77% specificity.
