In 19 types of tumors, the expression of at least one CXCR2 ligand was only positively correlated with the count of conventional (myeloid) DCs in the tumor, while in esophageal carcinoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and endocervical adenocarcinoma, the correlation was negative. The gene discussed is CXCR2; the disease is carcinoma of esophagus.
