The long-term survival score (LTSS) proposed by Landsberg et al. [20] is composed of the RCRI criteria (congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease, insulin-treated diabetes mellitus, chronic renal failure and cerebrovascular disease), with the addition of age >65 years, ST-segment depression on preoperative 12-lead electrocardiography (ECG), and both insulin-treated and insulin-independent diabetes mellitus.
