The SV2 family of membrane glycoproteins consists of three members, SV2A, SV2B, and SV2C, and all of them have been linked to multiple neurological disorders, e.g. epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and cognitive disorders (Stout et al., 2019). Here, SV2A is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
