CDKN2A was considered a tumor suppressor gene.[44] Overexpression of CDKN2A in HNSCC has been linked to improved survival, and studies have shown that deletions of CDKN2A are related to susceptibility to checkpoint inhibitors.[45–47] Together, the aforementioned ARGs had substantial impacts on HSNCC patients’ prognoses.
