TP53 and colorectal carcinoma: The chemopreventive effect of aspirin in CRC might be related to various mechanisms, including inhibition of cyclooxygenase, cyclin-dependent kinase, β-catenin phosphorylation, mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase, MYC, cyclin A2, nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B cells, and Wnt signaling pathways, activation of adenosine monophosphate kinase, induction of polyamine catabolism and deoxyribonucleic acid mismatch repair proteins, and acetylation of p53, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and other proteins (Sankaranarayanan et al., 2020).
