Immunohistochemical results showed that the expression levels of α-SMA and type I collagen in the lung tissues of mice with pulmonary fibrosis were reduced by medium and high doses of asarinin (Fig. 1D,E), which was consistent with the western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR results (Fig. 1I–L). The gene discussed is ACTA1; the disease is pulmonary fibrosis.
