MAPK8 and Bloom syndrome: MAPK and PPARγ pathways are known to interact, and several studies have shown that ERK, JNK, and p38 pathways are activated in BLM models66–71; further, increased expression and activation of PPARγ can inhibit these pathways, which may be related to the inhibition of myofibroblast transformation due to PPARγ activation72–77.
