Based on the results of our in vitro experiments, to further explore whether the inhibitory effect of asarinin on BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis was related to PPARγ, we pretreated the mice with 1 mg/kg of GW9662 intraperitoneally 30 min before intraperitoneal injection of high-dose asarinin, and then compared the differences between each treatment (Fig. 8A). Here, PPARG is linked to pulmonary fibrosis.
