IGHA1 and Henoch-Schoenlein purpura: Data synthesis suggested that IgAN patients had higher levels of blood and/or urine Gd-IgA1 compared with healthy controls (standard mean difference [SMD]=1.43, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.19-1.68, P<0.00001), IgA vasculitis patients (SMD=0.58, 95% CI=0.22-0.94, P=0.002), and other kidney disease patients (SMD=1.06, 95% CI=0.79-1.33, P<0.00001).
