SVIL and urinary bladder cancer: By assessing the association between SVIL expression and different clinicopathological characteristics of bladder cancer patients, the results showed that although SVIL mRNA was significantly lower in all bladder cancer tissues than in normal tissues, elevated SVIL mRNA expression in the tumor tissues of bladder cancer patients was associated with higher T-stage (p < 0.01), N-stage (< 0.01), and pathological stage (p < 0.001) (Fig. 3A–C).
