NFKB1 and infection: Fig 2A and 2B show that at 8–10 h post infection (p.i.)with RSV, the infection may manifest through IRF3 phosphorylation (p-IRF3 is translocated to the nucleus, giving a discernible nuclear IRF3 signal, overlapping with that of NF-κB at later time points in Fig G in S1 Appendix), expression of RSV proteins, and/or production of IFNβ.
