A recent analysis of the trial including 80 patients with complete molecular data showed that IDH-mutant tumors were associated with significantly better survival compared with IDH-wild-type tumors; median OS and PFS times were 9.4 and 8.1 years in the oligodendroglioma group, 8.8 and 7.5 years in the astrocytoma group, and 2.3 and 1.0 years in the IDH-wild-type group, respectively [12]. This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and oligodendroglioma.
