Higher OR4D1 gene score smokers were at a greater risk of obesity (OR = 2.67 [CI = 1.35, 5.30]), while high CALML3 gene score smokers had a lower risk of obesity (OR= 0.25 [CI = 0.10, 0.62]). This evidence concerns the gene CALML3 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
