We identified 77.3% (n=85) of the patients as euthyroid, while 22.7% (n=25) of the patients were found to have thyroid dysfunction (hypothyroidism; no patient was found to have hyperthyroidism), for which thyroid hormone replacement was administered in oral tablet form (1.6 microgram/kg of body weight) along with autoimmune disorder-specific treatment.
