Studies have shown that overexpression of the EZH2 enhancer in PCa leads to negative regulation of the interferon-stimulated gene, thereby reducing the therapeutic effect of tumour immune checkpoint blockade in PCa (51).EZH2 plays its oncogenic role by acting as a co-activator of a number of key transcription factors in metastatic castration-resistant PCa cells (52). The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
