A meta-analysis of 81 fully reviewed articles reported that most immune-related adverse events of anti-CTLA-4 treatment occur as skin lesions (dermatitis, epidermal spongiosis, and Sweet’s syndrome), hormonal deficiencies, hepatitis, colitis, pancreatic abnormalities, neurologic complications, ocular diseases, visual disturbances, and severe immune complications (51).
