P. solani’ infection, 12 key enzymes of carbohydrate metabolism (i.e., ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase, phosphoglucomutase, aldolase, phosphofructokinase, phosphoglucoisomerase, hexokinase, fructokinase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, UDP-glucose pyrophosphorylase, cytoplasmic invertase, cell wall invertase, and vacuolar invertase) were tested in leaves of N. benthamiana after Agrobacterium-mediated transient transformation with each of chosen effector constructs originated from the strain VvKn_Zw2 (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene G6PD and infection.
