NOS2 and breast cancer: We detected that heterozygotes of c.1823 C > T (p. Ser608Leu) (rs2297518) and g.-1026 C > A (rs2779249) in the NOS2 gene polymorphisms were associated with a reduced risk of BC development in an only female subpopulation (p < 0.05, p < 0.01, respectively).
