Interestingly, CRISPR screen data from Cancer Dependency Map (DepMap) collection shows that TFAP2A depletion has the strongest growth inhibitory effect in GP5d cells across 55 colorectal cell lines (see Supplementary Fig. 8c) (CRISPR Chronos score = −0.2586)55, suggesting that TFAP2A-controlled transcriptional programs are critical for GP5d proliferation.
