FERMT2 and pancreatic adenocarcinoma: Consistent with human TMA data, Kindlin-2 protein expression was slightly higher in mouse pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanINs) than in normal pancreatic tissues, and progressively increased with the progression of pancreatic adenocarcinoma, suggesting Kindlin-2 might play a crucial role in regulating PDAC progression (Figure 1C).
