Analysis of BTLA expression in 253 samples from patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphomas from germinal centers, including DLBCL, mantle cell lymphoma (MLC), marginal zone lymphoma, Burkitt's lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) revealed that the latter displays the highest expression levels, suggesting that BTLA and HVEM expression on tumor cells from germinal centers could serve as a marker to distinguish between different types of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas [88]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF14 and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
