To further substantiate the role of ChAT-expressing T cells in liver tumorigenesis, we used an alternative disease model in which Chatfl/fl; Cd4-cre and Chatfl/fl mice were fed long term on a Western diet (high fat, high cholesterol and high sugar) to induce non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). This evidence concerns the gene CHAT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
