Additionally, several CIN-induced aneuploidy mouse models have been generated through overexpression, heterozygous deletion, or mutation of mitotic checkpoint proteins, or by overexpression of Polo-like-kinase 4 (PLK4) to induce centrosome amplification (Michel et al. 2001; Sotillo et al. 2007; Weaver et al. 2007; Iwanaga et al. 2007; Li et al. 2009; Baker et al. 2009; Foijer et al. 2014; Levine et al. 2017; Hoevenaar et al. 2020).
