One study found that elevated Apolipoprotein B/A1 ratio was relevant with iNPH (OR = 2.51, 95% CI 1.61 to 3.9, P < 0.001) (4), while another two studies did not find a causal relationship between fasting triglyceride level (OR = 0.6, 95% CI 0.2 to 2.0, P = 0.37) or history of hyperlipidemia (OR = 0.90, 95% CI 0.40 to 2.04, P = 0.97) and iNPH (7, 13). The gene discussed is APOB; the disease is hyperlipidemia.
