Screening of the target gene CRTAC1 in relation to lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) in the TCGA dataset showed that it is expressed at lower levels in tumors than in normal tissues, and high CRTAC1 expression is associated with a favorable prognosis in patients with LUAD, suggesting its role as a marker for the early diagnosis of LUAD [8]. This evidence concerns the gene CRTAC1 and lung adenocarcinoma.
