Subjects with asthma were more likely to be sensitized to lipocalins (55.8% vs. 28.8%, p < 0.001) and albumin (17.1% vs. 5.4%, p = 0.003), but not to secretoglobin (91.7% vs. 94.6%, p = 0.342) than those without asthma (Table 2). The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is asthma.
