IGHE and food allergy: The binding avidity assay was first used in the field of food allergy diagnosis by the densely carboxylated protein (DCP) microarray [13] by us as a method to increase the diagnostic performance of antigen-specific IgE levels in the deferential diagnosis of food allergy and anaphylaxis, even when it is difficult to diagnose by food challenge testing, and its potential usefulness has been proven [13,14,15,16].
