In addition to F-containing small molecules, in recent years, the FDA has approved (2019–2022) four oligonucleotides: vutrisiran (polyneuropathy of hereditary transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis in adults); inclisiran (atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and familial hypercholesterolemia); lumasiran (hyperoxaluria type 1); and givosiran (acute hepatic porphyria). This evidence concerns the gene TTR and polyneuropathy.
