It was also discovered that of the 11 cases of diabetic ketoacidosis (1.7%) who were taking sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors, 18.2% (two patients) were diagnosed with euglycemic ketoacidosis associated with SGLT2 (blood sugar < 250 mg/dL) [47].
