Autoantibodies detected in blood samples are particularly important in autoimmune syndromes, including Churg-Strauss syndrome (increased levels of Eotaxin 1, 2, 3), Sjogren syndrome (anti-Ro/SSA, anti-La/SSB antibodies), Takayasu arteritis (factor Petraxin-3), and systemic lupus erythematosus (anti-cardiolipin and anti-paraoxonase L antibodies). This evidence concerns the gene SSB and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis.
