CRP and coronary artery disorder: The latest guideline on Chronic Coronary Syndromes from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) identifies several complementary risk-assessment tools, namely intima-media thickness, coronary artery calcium scores, brachial flow-mediated dilation, ankle-brachial index, high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and family history of CAD, which may be used in selected patients.
