In this study, two times lower uptake values were found for the RGD peptide (T/M SUVmean: 6.39 ± 0.38 and T/M SUVmax: 7.8 ± 1.14) than in case of the NGR compound; however, in the experiment of Shao et al., the RGD and NGR tumour uptake of the subcutaneous HT1080 xenografts did not differ significantly (6.42 ± 2.21, 5.43 ± 2.76, and 4.02 ± 2.03% ID/g for [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-G3-NGR2 and 7.84 ± 1.94, 6.26 ± 1.63, and 5.13 ± 1.88% ID/g for [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-G3-RGD2; respectively 0.5, 1 and 2 h post-injection) [37].
