Here, we describe cannabinoid signaling in hippocampal astrocytes of 3×Tg-AD mice, the triple transgenic mouse model, demonstrating for the first time that female 3×Tg-AD mice present at birth (PND 2-3) in the hippocampus astrocytes with a lower expression of both genes related to inflammatory activity (Il1b and Il6; Figure 1) and genes related to Ca2+ flow (P2rx5 and Mcu; Figure 6) located at the plasma membrane and subcellular levels.
