In that study, the authors used a cutaneous melanoma cohort from TCGA and found that Lachnoclostridium and Flammeovirga are not only positively associated with infiltrating CD8+ T cells but also chemokines CXCL9, CXCL10, and CCL5, which is consistent with our results using the HPV-negative HNSCC cohort. Here, CD8A is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
