Among the 49 VUS identified in the index patient 1, two genes were cancer-related: NTRK1c.16C > T and NFATC2 c.1952G > A. Gene fusions involving NTRK1 can confer oncogenic potential in several tumors, including BC and CRC [43,44]. This evidence concerns the gene NFATC2 and colorectal carcinoma.
