CD4 and acute coronary syndrome: The analysis of continuous variables in the two subgroups (Table 7) showed significant differences in the mean level of CD4+ count at the onset of acute coronary syndrome, with patients in the subgroup with a CD4+ nadir ≤ 200 cells/mm3 having significantly lower mean values (476.74 [SD 242.53] vs. 805.74 [SD 384.34]; p = 0.001).
