Methylation profiling of an 11-gene panel (ALX4, ABCC6, BRCA1, CDH13, CFTR, HPR1, MINT1, MT1A, RASSF1A, RPRM, and SALL3) had a 91.7% sensitivity and an 87% specificity for the detection of bladder cancer. This evidence concerns the gene CFTR and urinary bladder carcinoma.
