In relation to chemoresistance, nine genes (HOXA9, ADD1, DBNDD2, EPAS1, GCNT4, RAPGEF5, TLR4, TSTD1, and ZNF582) were found to be differentially expressed in cisplatin-resistant bladder cancer cell lines as compared to those that were cisplatin-sensitive. This evidence concerns the gene HOXA9 and urinary bladder cancer.
