In a comprehensive analysis of gene expression profiles from 3247 breast cancer samples, it was discovered that while 47% of TNBCs showed a basal-like gene expression pattern, the remaining 53% were associated with diverse molecular subtypes including luminal A (17%), normal-like (12%), luminal B (6%), HER2 (6%), and some that remained unclassified (12%). Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast cancer.
