Sema4D binds to plexin-B1 and plexin-B2 receptors, and it was observed that when plexin-B1 is associated with the MET receptor and with its close homolog receptor Ron, sema4D induces their auto-phosphorylation and promotes invasiveness of tumor cells expressing these receptors as well as tumor angiogenesis [29,30]. The gene discussed is MST1R; the disease is neoplasm.
