Among all MCGs, ADORA2A (adenosine A2a receptor) and XBP1 (X-box-binding protein 1) are significantly correlated with the survival of six types of cancer (Figure 1E), including increased risk of death in lung squamous cell carcinoma (HR = 1.42) and reduced risk of death in five other types of cancer patients (BRCA, HR = 0.53; HNSC, HR = 0.64; PAAD, HR = 0.47; SARC, HR = 0.62; SKCM, HR = 0.71). The gene discussed is ADORA2A; the disease is squamous cell lung carcinoma.
