Interestingly, unique alterations in protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 7 (PTPN7)/NGFI-A-binding protein 2 (NAB2) were observed between SCZ and BD, while some overlapping gene signatures, characterized by elevations in activating transcription factor 3 (ATF3)/dual specificity phosphatase 2 (DUSP2) and early-growth-response protein 3 (EGR3)/mad-max dimerization protein (MXD1) [78], were shared between both illnesses. This evidence concerns the gene PTPN7 and Behcet disease.
